Role: Bilingual Patient Service Coordinator

Salary: $45,000 per year

Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Duties:

Handle and document patient inquiries regarding requests for service.

Report and document Adverse Events in line with pharmacovigilance requirements.

Assess patient service needs in consultation with supervisors.

Schedule licensed employees for care and service assignments, ensuring alignment between patient needs and staff qualifications, skills, and abilities.

Promote consistency of assignments and coordination of services.

Notify patients and field employees regarding initial and ongoing schedules.

Complete data entry and maintain accurate scheduling documentation.

Be available for on-call shifts (morning, evening, weekends, or holidays).

Handle and document patient concerns or complaints in a timely manner, escalating when appropriate.

Meet scheduling performance indicators while ensuring patient-centered care.

Participate in training, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.

Adhere to company policies, confidentiality requirements, and health & safety practices.

Maintain knowledge of ICH, GCP, and Health Canada GVP guidelines as applicable.

Support regulatory and contractual reporting requirements.

Perform other related tasks as required.

Job Requirements:

Secondary School Diploma required.

Completion of a recognized program such as a Licensed Practical Nurse program or a Medical Terminology course (preferred).

Minimum of two years’ related customer service experience, ideally in healthcare.

Fluency in English (written and verbal); bilingual in French an asset.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Proven ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail.

Competency in keyboarding and Windows-based scheduling software; experience with Procura is an asset.

Ability to operate standard office equipment.
